so prison break season 4 returns with a 2 episode season premiere. and frankly i'm a little disappointed but still anxious to watch the rest of the season.

as we know from the end of season 3, lincoln decided to enjoyed his new found freedom with his new girlfriend, sofia and his kid lj, leaving michael alone to avenge sara's death. considering what he had done that led to sara's supposed death, i'd expect lincoln to have some part in helping michael get his revenge.

so season 4 opens with michael tracking down whistler, gretchen and mahone. whistler and gretchen were at some conference to negotiate for scylla, a disc containing important Company data. unbeknownst to gretchen, mahone and whistler were actually working against the company. whistler did a swap of the scylla and that when's michael come and stopped him. michael wanted to kill gretchen but instead found out that sara's not dead (shocker!) apparently sara escaped from the company (how the hell did she do that?), and gretchen didn't have anymore leverage with michael while he was in sona. so she faked sara's death. gretchen and whistler escape, after whistler successfully did the swap



meanwhile back at panama, sona burnt down when the prisoners rioted. all the prisoners escape including bellick, sucre and the t-bag. (how conveniently did sona burnt down shortly after michael and gang successfully escaped from there. i guess the writers of prison break has had enough sona not to even show the rioting and the burning down of sona.)

padman (remember the padman, who loves giving instruction on his little writing pad) found out about the switched scylla and suspects gretchen is in it together with whistler and mahone. padman seems to had gretchen killed or so we thought. (i have learnt that until we see a character being killed and lay dead, then we can confirm that character's death, otherwise they ain't dead yet.)



mahone arranged a meeting with michael thru http://www.europeangoldfinch.net/ and revealed to michael, him and whistler's plan to take down the company. they got the scylla. and now mahone and whistler needed michael's help to break into a secured builing to read the content of the scylla, but instead whistler got shot dead right in the head and loses possession of the scylla to a new company agent, named wyatt. (also dubbed the black terminator in some forums, LOL)



back at panama, lincoln killed someone, whom he thought was from the company. and this time lincoln didn't run, he surrendered.



sucre and bellick on the other hand become new buddies when they escaped from sona together. bellick's mom came to pick them up. but eventually they got caught again after sucre when to see his newborn baby girl at the hospital. meanwhile, t-bag who had taken refuge at the nun's house made his way to san diego to settle his 'blood feud' with michael scofield.



so michael went off to look for sara. that's when he was caught by the homeland security. an agent of the homeland security, donald self (played by michael rapaport. i thought this guy is a comedian) offers freedom to michael and lincoln in exchange for helping him take down the company. michael refuses and then someone bailed him and lincoln out. it turns out it bruce who bailed them out and reuniting michael with sara. (altogether now, awwww)



wyatt, the black terminator, acting on padman's instruction to clean up found michael, lincoln and sara's hideout. he attacked them and that's when michael and lincoln decided to take self's offer. that's when michael's team was formed. it consists of michael, lincoln, sara, sucre, bellick and mahone, who turns out was already working for agent self. (at this point i think to myself, what has prison break become. another ocean's 11? maybe this time it's called scofield's 6)
